About this product
The Pioneer DDJ-SR is a double deck DJ controller with USB power and a loop/sampler effect. It features 16 pads, 2 channels, 2 line inputs, 2 phono inputs, and 1 mic input. It supports 24-bit/44.1 kHz sampling and connects via USB and 1/4-inch TRS/TS ports. Made in Japan, this tabletop unit has a 1U rack height.
Our take
This is essentially the same DDJ-SR as the other listing but without the pitch control feature mentioned. In practice, it's still a solid controller for Serato DJ. The 16 pads feel great for triggering samples, and the layout is intuitive. The lack of pitch control might be a dealbreaker for some, but the USB power keeps the desk clean. One gripe: the 1/4-inch outputs are unbalanced, which can introduce noise in long cable runs. Overall, a competent controller if you find it at the right price.
