I got the gold edition for a bit of flair, and it does look sharp. Functionally, it's the same as the standard DDJ-REV1 — good for Serato, compact, and easy to set up. The $250 price is a premium over the black version for just a color change. If you're into aesthetics and don't mind paying extra, it's fine. The lack of detailed specs in the listing is frustrating; I had to assume the same inputs/outputs as the standard REV1. For the money, you might be better off with the cheaper black version unless gold is a must.
