About this product
The Pioneer DJ DDJ-SR is a used black 2-channel double deck controller with USB and 6.35mm I/O. It features USB power and is designed for Serato. Priced at $319.99, it is a more affordable entry into Pioneer's controller line. This unit is console only with no added accessories. It is a compact, functional controller suitable for intermediate DJs who want Pioneer quality on a budget, but lacks some features of the later SR2.
Our take
At $320, the DDJ-SR is a great deal for Pioneer quality. It feels solid and the layout is intuitive. The 16 pads are responsive and the faders are smooth. It's USB powered, so you can plug and play with Serato. The 2-channel setup keeps things simple but might feel limiting for four-deck mixing. The sound card is decent for home use. My unit works perfectly, but being console only, you need your own cables. For the price, it's an excellent starter pro controller.
